Entrance Exams: Class 10th Board Exams may be scrapped

This would be a move that could provide some relief to Class X students. Union human resource development minister Kapil Sibal is looking forward to scrap the Class 10 board examination.

According to Sibal this examination based system causes trauma to both students & parents. He also felt that now the time had come to take some new steps and restructure this education system to make it less stressful for the students. Read more

Hotel Management Courses Information

Eligibility for Hotel Management Course Admission:

Minimum qualification for admission is a pass certificate in 10+2 system or its equivalent. You must have passed at least one public examination. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent is not submitted to the concerned Institute by the prescribed date.

Age Limit for Hotel Management Course:

22 years for General/PH and 25 years for SC/ST candidates as on 1st July. In the case of Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is realxable by 3 years. Proof of Date of birth, would be according to Secondary Education Board/Pre University Certificate. At the time of counseling, this Certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which you will be disqualified. Read more

National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2009

NDA Entrance Examination (II) 2009 will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 30th August, 2009, for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 124th Course and Naval Academy for 44th 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course commencing from 30th June, 2010.

The number of vacancies to be filled by the result of this NDA exam will be 339 (195 for the Army, 39 for Navy, 66 for the Air Force and 39 for the Executive Branch of Naval Academy).

All India MCA Common Entrance Test is a competition exam conducted by IITs for the students aspiring to do master of computer applications (MCA).

AIMCET 2009 Eligibility:
